Lovely song. One of my all-time favorites for sure, if not the favorite. it’s very strong to me, as there’s nothing worse than being mad about someone who doesn’t care about you. And I’ve had my share of sighs in the night..
All though the song is about giving in to the temptation and “letting loose”, doing so in reality is much harder unfortunately. still, in a way it’s a nice cheer-up song in that retrospect. You learn to accept the fact that you’re crazy about someone and there’s no point in repressing it because it will drive you bananas (you got her/him under your skin after all) and that makes it slightly easier to deal with the blues.
