It seems to have become a trend to blog about learning how to code (at least posts featured on Hacker News).
People are different, some people like to read [about programming] and others get their hands dirty immediately. Do what suits you best – it’s easy to be wise after the event. And if it wasn’t obvious from the start: you actually have to code in order to learn how to code (who would’ve thought?).
