Follow-up on the acne treatment with Brevoxyl

About three months ago I wrote an article on the truth about acne. Since then I’ve been using the benozyl peroxide featuring cream Brevoxyl every single day. Before you ask this is not a paid-for productplacement ad or any of that sort, I just happen to be using this particular cream (Basiron is supposed to be very similar and is actually a more popular product).

I thought it would be interesting to show the difference between my old face and the current one in true, cheap, tv-programming style! Please note that the first picture was taken a few years ago and not three months ago. Yes the lighting is a bit different but I think you can see the change.

So there you have it. This post is ultimately not about a petty argument regarding which cream is best, but about improving the quality of life. There are few things more important in life than actually enjoying life (feel free to disagree in the comments section).

As in the original post (refered to above), it’s also about perseverance. Find a treatment (I would obviously recommend a cream like Brevoxyl, especially if you’ve already tried pills and it didn’t help) and stick to it. It doesn’t work over night, I’ve been using the cream every single day for about 6 months now and it still hasn’t fully cleared up. I wrote about how I “motivated” myself in the-yet-again-mentioned truth about acne post.

There you have it, good luck!
